Dr. Sean Thomas graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor’s in Sports Business. He was a competitive water polo player there for 4.5 years, where he was captain for his last 2 seasons, named an All-American his last year, and was named MVP of their Conference Tournament. After graduation, Dr. Thomas had the opportunity to try out for Team USA for the 2020 Olympics but being one of the lowest men on the totem pole that dream didn’t happen.
After all of this Dr. Thomas had a mentor as a head coach; Dr. Terry Schroeder, who was also a chiropractor, influenced him to seek a career as a chiropractor. During his playing career, Dr. Thomas had received multiple concussions from the sport. However, by being treated by chiropractic Dr. Thomas was able to bounce back quicker without any long-lasting symptoms. Dr. Thomas graduated from Life Chiropractic College West. He excelled during his time by combining the skills he learned by being an athlete with chiropractic which led him to understand an in-depth understanding of the body’s advanced movements. Dr. Thomas would use his leadership skills as President of the Diversified Club (the most used technique out of all chiropractors), a member of the Sports Performance Institute, and a member of the Delta Sigma Chi professional fraternity where he served as the Treasurer and countless other committees.
Nowadays Dr. Thomas serves the community of San Diego helping those who have experienced sports injuries, low back pain, and headaches/migraines. He also is still involved with the sport of water polo by coaching at one of the oldest competitive clubs in San Diego and plays in high-level tournaments throughout the nation as a player. He has a passion for combining chiropractic care/education/and holistic medicine towards those that can improve their lives!
